Why does there have to be so much emphasis in the church on getting married?
It doesn’t matter what church you go to, it’s everywhere. Better not drink the water, otherwise it’ll get you too, like a plague seeping in. It’s just annoying to feel awkward around people cause you know where their mindset is. Especially being a single, attractive, young adult- you’re basically fresh meat. Let’s play the dating game and set people up. Ugh no, let’s not do that. Let them find it out on their own, please. It’s a thought that buzzes around my mind more often lately than ever and it’s cause of a seed that’s been planted and watered every time the topic arises. Which is obviously often. And don’t get me started on how fast and young people are getting engaged and married these days. Freakkin cray. But that’s for another frustrated blog post.
Dating and relationships are just made so much more complicated than need be.
